If it's any comfort - I've been e-mailing and phoning for a week, and got nowhere!

Have you established yet whether you have to use cycling, or whether those discrete commands work - have you tried them as ljet suggested?

i tried discrete commands and so did the rep, we cannot get them to work. we can only get cycling to work for whatever reason, ive now been on phone for 1 hr 30 minutes (wife is ready to kill me) this is riduclous, arent these things supposed to be good, and easy!? and quite expensive?

Sorry, but I'm not surprised the discrete commands don't work - your set isn't supposed to use them - it works by cycling only. Logitech's lists of commands often include commands that don't apply to the device they're supposed to relate to.
Expensive indeed and I've told them for that kind of money a product has to work properly in every respect, or it goes back.

Go to your TV and manually pull up the device list and write down all of the inputs listed and the order. Then go into the TV device Adjust Inputs option and make sure that matches the TV EXACTLY. You can't skip an input or add an extra one because all the harmony does is keep track of where it is in the list and figures out how to get to where it needs to go by counting. If the TV is missing some of the commands to cycle through the inputs then increase the inter-device delay.

Several of us told you how to get discretes working yourself but you ignored us. Glad you got it working but you could have had it working a lot sooner.

Well done level 2 then! What's that about being afraid to touch it?
