I am having trouble deciding wether to go with the harmony 1 or 1000. I like harmony 1000 full screen, but its also more money.

I need something thats easy to set up, but also flexible and lets me assign things and go back and forth between devices easily.

Even just user opinions of who used both would be helpful. I have been reading up on both models but its hard to find the ups and downs of each, there is alot of info.

I own both a Harmony One and a Harmony 1000. I use them in different in different rooms of the house. I like the Harmony One way better. In fact, I keep the Harmony One where I have my main entertainment system since I'm in there more often. The shape and placement of the buttons on the One make it so much easier to use than the 1000. The LCD screen on the One is smaller, however, it looks much sharper. The graphics look amazing.

I highly recommend the One.

I have owned and 880 for 4 years and was looking to get a new the one. However, I found amazon running the Harmony 1000 for $194.00 net I had to get it over the one.. ;

If you need RF as I do in my main theater, you have to get the 1000. I also own both and when the one which I use in the BR can do RF as well as IR, I will get another one.
