Hello,
I did some searching but came up empty( probably searched for the wrong thing)
I just had logitech block my remote from there system (the problem with the remote is the backlight other ways its fine) I would like to know if there is a way to program it with out actually hitting logitech servers ? Thank you.

Its already blocked, since they are sending me a new remote and they dont require returns on the RMA since they block the remote in the system.... I was wondering if I can reprogram it with out there website ?

I don't think this is what your looking for but you can program your remote without installing the software. [Link: members.harmonyremote.com]

Todd, that link is the website user interface which still needs the Client Software to program the remote. The Client Software has more functions than just a user interface and needs internet access to the Harmony server.

The whole thing is. You cant program it if its blacklisted in there system!

Let me see now...
You bought a Harmony remote. You had a problem with it so Logitech is replacing it for free and you do not have to return the defective remote. They are doing you a huge favor and you want to turn around and cheat them, and have the audacity to come here so we can help you do it. Since you obviously have no sense of right and wrong, why not try to sell the broken remote on e-bay? Or is that different because you would be cheating an actual person and not a faceless corporation?

Yes because i want to be able to program a remote thats been disabled in the logitech system im a croock ? Just cuz i want to program the remote and use it Im not cheating any 1 just utilizing what I have doesnt seem like a waste to throw out a remote that works just the backlight is bad ? Its eather garbage or learn something new and make use of the hardware
