Does anyone know how to load pictures that have been taken with a digital camera into the Harmony 1000?

Yes I do. Take your pics. Then connenct 1000 to p/c or mac then go t oyour harmony page.Then you open remote settings then you transfer your pics to the remote.the pic can be only 160 kb is the max for your temote pic.

I guess my big problem is how do you make the piciture 160kb or smaller?

Not really a big problem, go to [Link: faststone.org] download the photo resizer and experiment with the settings. I find a quality setting of about 3 gets my 2meg files down to the 110kb size.
