Currently, the Favorite Channels feature is supported only for TV tuner type devices.

BWC,
That would be a question best posted as a separate thread. My Music Choice comes in through my DVR, so the remote allows me favorites for those "channels".
I'm not sure how to set it up for a receiver-controlled tuner.
I'd be interested in knowing what you find out as I plan an XM-ready AVR in the future.
Sorry I can't be more help.

I guess the ? is how do I add XM stations to the Favorites,
since they are for TV channels. I do have a separate
Watch TV/Audio activity that has the same favorites as
the Watch TV activity. In that activity, I can use the
command page to tune to XM, NET radio, AM/FM or SAT while
the hard buttons are for the AVR mostly with only a few
for DirecTV. This way I can watch TV (channels via Favorites),
but use the audio I want to listen to...great for watching
golf while listening to something else. I just don't
see how to add XM AVR stations into the Favorites? What
am I missing there..thanks.

If Logitech gives us the ability to add icons to the command
buttons then problem solved as I will use the XM icons
on a command page for select XM stations.

Square,

The icons look great! I know this might be a pain but now that directv has its on-demand channels for different networks would it be hard for you to add an OD to those network icons? Maybe you can make a generic OD that you can cut and paste into the existing ones you have. Just wondering.

Thanks!

tedct,
In your desktop software, go to your "Watch TV" activity --> Settings --> Set Up Favorite Channels. Once there you may add the channel numbers and browse for the icons to correspond.
Hope that helps.

ted,
I understand what you mean now. When you're adding the favorite icons and you see the graphics of available channels provided by Harmony software (mostly Fox stations), click on browse to locate the icon files you've downloaded to your local hard drive.

I would like to make a request for a few UK icons;

Living TV
Paramount Comedy
Zone Horror
Movies 24

These icons look fantastic on the remote, can't understand why Logitech only have a few icons. Not one is useful for the UK. So pleased I found your website.

Thanks

Randy,

Are icons for the 1000 still in the works?

I couldnt pass up a deal on the big river site for the 1000 with the RF extender for $285....no i'm not getting rid of the ONE!

[Link: amazon.com]

The combo shows up as $385, enter code GPTWUNH9 for another $100 off. Free shipping too.

hey bbevans,
they'll be in the works soon. right now i'm working on
updating the site with a backend database app so that
you guys will be able to search by name or alpha.
once it goes live it will free me up to convert the icons
to the other remotes.
hang in there.

Hi, I'm fairly new here, and just set up my One remote, and stumbled upen these icons, which are awesome, but the part I'm not understanding is how will these work under the DVR device button, since I change channels with my Directv DVR, not my TV. I don't get TV via antenna. Am I missing something here? Any way to do it? Thanks in advance!

That's an excellent deal you found! I still plan to convert the H1 icons to the 1000, so you'll be able to load it up. I hope to have them done later this year as I finish rounding out the H1 icons.

They don't work under the any of the "devices" you set up. They load up on a sub page of the "Watch TV" (or "Watch DVR") Activity. If you go to that activity's settings you'll see a radio button labelled "Set Up Favorite Channels". There you may "browse" for any icons you have on your local drive or use Harmony's preset icons (but only if you really, really, really like all the fox stations- it seems that's all they have!?!)
I hope that helps you out.

Are you maybe missing the principle of Harmonys: that they work by Activities, not by Devices?
You can set favourite channels complete with icons on any Watch TV activity whether it's by antenna, satellite, or cable.

Yes, I know they work by activities. What I was asking is how to use the icons, and If I in fact could, as I didn't see a way to select favorite channels under the DVR device. Obviously it adds this option on the remote AFTER it is set up through the watch TV activity , because right now there is no favorite channels option under my DVR 'device' button, and that is how I change channels. There is a favorites under the TV device button, and that's where I thought the icons would end up, which would do no good, as it seems it would then tell the TV to change channels, and that's not how it works. Hope I'm right in my assumptions.
