I have the Logitech Harmony 880... one thing that bugs me is the slippery feel it has, esp when trying to hit 'Prev' and the other small buttons on the sides. It would be nice if it had a plastic sleeve for a better grip. Alternatively, maybe I can put a tacky substance onto the body? Any ideas?

TIA

You can buy rubberized/padded adhesive tape at Home Depot or Lowes and cut it to size for the back of the remote, but my concern would be this would interfere with charging ...

i havent yet used it on my harmony, but i had a similar issue on a few other products, and after trying everything, i found out what seems to have the best feel plus doesnt look like ass.
its a spray rubber coating.

it gives things a kinda semi matte finish, but feels really good, after time it will wear off, but just respray it... obviously you will need to take the remote apart before doing it.

Thanks fellas, I'll give the spray on rubber a try... sounds like it might be good for other things as well hehe.

You can also try E-Grips they work well on the sides of the 880

With my 880, I took the battery cover off and sprayed it with some rubberized automotive undercoating that I had laying around. Dried in 15 minutes and has a nice tacky feel. No more slips.
