Mine came in last Friday and I upgraded from my 880. Overall it was very painless, the hardest part was reaching deep into the cabinet to plug in the RF extender. All the settings transferred flawlessly from my 880.
I was surprised to see that when you use the 890 Pro, the web interface becomes different, you lose all the pretty pictures and it just gets down to business.
Also one pain in the butt is that every time you make a change you need to not only update the remote but also the RF extender, which means you have to unplug it, bring it, and update two devices instead of just one. I'm lucky I had all my hours of tweaking behind me because it would have taken me a lot longer.
I also see that this remote can support secondary remotes, but do these have to be 890 Pro or will a regular 890 do?
I also setup a couple of basic activities in another room for a simple multi-room setup, it was very easy.
If anybody has any questions go ahead, I know it was hard to find info about the 890 Pro back when I was considering it...

How is the multiroom thing working? Do you press room 1 and then you get to listen tom music, watch a dvd or what ever you want in room 1 What If i have a reciever with multiple amlified zones, say Im in room 1 puts on some music, then realize I want to also listen to the same music in room 2. So I press room 2 on the remote and then press listen to music in room 2. Will the remote know that music is allready playing in room 1 and only ad the commands it need to get it playing in room 2. In contrast to say No music is playing at all, I go to room 2 and press listen to music in room 2!? How smart is this thing?
Thanks Kasper
