Hi to all
Please has anyone got a workaround for my problem, Had the harmony working like a dream with old harmony software, but since the last update i cant do macros any more

Play 360 Activity
tv on
amp on
360 on
input yuv
(this is where it all goes wrong as i need it to on tv press)
menu
select
right
select
menu

and on power of do the reverse

menu
select
left
select
menu

used for changing image settings as the 360 uses different to sky, Cant do it now with the new software harmony has released or can i, any pointers would be great before i call the tech line.

Cheers in advance

Talcy

As harmony has stated, the change was due to customer demand. Just who these customers are, I don't know..

There must be a louder place than this board for us to lodge complaints.

The Activity Start/End macro setup hasn't changed...it still works just as it used to.

Select "Review action for this activity", then "Yes, but I want to add more control".

This is the part they have changed, and it is now more difficult to do.

Your only option now is to use the "Learn RAW" option to learn a "mini-macro". The theory is you select "Custom" on the learning screen, then "Learn RAW" for the command you want the macro on.
When you teach it, you need to press both buttons(ie Play then LightsOFF) quickly one after the other so the remote thinks it is one single command. This is pretty easy when both commands are on the same remote, but when you need to teach from both the DVD remote and the lighting remote it makes it much harder.

An easier option is to use a second universal remote to send the macro to teach the Harmony, but this means you need to have a second universal remote lying around, or are prepared to buy a cheapy One For All or similar.
