I'd like to set up 2 custom buttons in my Watch TV activity: One would be a Volume Down that sends 6 volume down clicks, the other would be Volume Up which sends 6 ups. This way I can do a quick volume control (if the phone rings) thats still watchable as opposed to Mute.

how would I do something like this? is it possible?

Thanks in advance, Ken.

The Harmony remotes support only the Activity Start/End macros. You could create 2 additional activities using the Activity Start feature to send the 6 volume command sequence. If you have another learning remote, you can create a macro with it, then teach it as a single command name using the device "Learn IR command" feature in RAW mode. If your other leaning remote is also an Harmony, then you would create the macro using the Activity Start macro feature.

Thanks jlet. Here I thought I was asking a stupid question. You would think there would be a simple method of creating a multiple step custom control.

I haven't tried this myself but I've read several posts about this same question and the posters said they solved the problem by doing repeated volume up as well as volume down key presses using Learn Raw and their original remotes. They said they had to play with the duration as Learn Raw will time out on you.

It's one of the few things the Harmony can't do and Logitech has made no indications that they'll start supporting macros anytime soon.
