I recently bought a new Harmony 520 off of ebay to control my entertainment system. I have an Olevia 227-S11 TV, and I see that many people on this forum have problems with their Olevias. I did some testing, and I discovered that the TV needs a 15 second (15000 ms for the mathematically impaired) delay after turning on the TV before it will accept remote signals for switching inputs. I would imagine other Olevia TV's of that era suffer the same problem, however, it was a great price and it puts out an outstanding picture - I would buy it all over again if I had to.

After you adjust your delay settings, select your activity, put the remote on your coffee table facing the TV for 15 seconds, and enjoy.

I have an older LT32HV, and it takes seven seconds of delay to accept commands after power-up, but it has less hardware and settings to initiate. The newer models have iDea technologies and such things that I imagine the circuits take a while to boot. The only issue I had with my TV was figuring out how to handle the multiple-cyclical inputs on it. It took me a while but I got it to work well. I think new models are strictly cyclical for all inputs. BUT, there's no remote codes for them. Only learning remotes can operate them and that can be a nuisance for many people.

However, I do agree that they put out quite a picture. I've been very very pleased with my Olevia. Of course, the older models had a lot of red-push to adjust out of the box, but the newer models are calibrated very well out of the box...not to mention they're a bargain over the brand-name models like Sharp and Sony.
