Hi all

Hope you can help me with this. I'm trying to figure out if there's any chance that I can control a Presonus Central Station ([Link: presonus.com]) with a Harmony 1000. It appears to me that the original remote for the unit is connected via RS232, but I'm not even sure about that. I guess I'd have to use something like a IR / RS232 controller (Xantech?), but I have no idea if this would work when connected to the Presonus. Also, how would I be able to "teach" the Harmony the commands to be sent?

Appears to be a pretty complex if not impossible project for a newbie like me, but maybe someone here can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

You should be able to use the Xantech IR to RS232 converter and learn the codes from a Xantech RC68+ remote into the Harmony, if they are not already there somewhere.
