Hi everyone I have the Harmony 670 remote and have it all programmed but I notice quite often that the buttons dont respond, such as the arrows up, down, side to side and ok button. Say if im in my guide for directv and scroll from channel to channel using the arrow buttons nothing happens, then all of a sudden they work. I know this sounds weird but Im wondering if this is normal or defective remote?

Ok just to clear things up. It seems to be a problem more focused on the HR20, the buttons work fine when using them for the tv, receiver. Could the delay times be causing this? Or a bad remote?

More likely an issue with the HR20 itself? E.g. try your original HR20 remote & see if you still see the same problem crop up. More likely it is the device not responding to commands, rather than the remote not sending commands.

I have the HR20 and the Harmony 670, and have not seen any of the problems you describe. Try resetting the HR20, if you have not already done so. I've had to do it several times. It is quite frankly not anywhere near as good as the Hughes DirectTivo, with the obvious exception of the HD. Others I've talked to that have had both units agree with me. It is a real shame Direct TV did not develop an HD DVR with Tivo.
