I am considering purchasing a TC30 but I have one component I'm not sure it will control. I have a DLO Home Dock Deluxe for my ipod which connects the ipod to my tv and my tuner. It has a full function remote and a few buttons that are unique to the ipod which you will not find on a standard remote. Can you create custom screen buttons for each component? Also, where can I get a list of supported components?

Thanks,
Dblcrona

I don't think the TC30 or the Harmonys have a database you can just look at to see what's supported. At worse case you can just have the TC30 learn the commands from the original remote. You would create an activity to get you devices in the right settings for the iPod dock. The next screen that shows up on the remote you can customize the LCD screen buttons to say and do anything you want. As long as your iPod dock remote is IR and RF. I have the Kennsington Dock which is RF so I have an activity on my TC30 to turn the Amp on and go to the right input, then I use the RF remote for the dock. I like the trade off because of the RF remote I can control things while out on the deck and all the hardware is inside. For the Kenssington RF I can control volume, play/pause and skip songs. This works great to put the iPod in shuffle and just adjust volume or skip a song I don't want to hear.

Harmony has a test drive feature on their website where you can see if your components are already in the database. But as beckp points out you can always learn the commands from the OEM remote, which is how the harmony database gets to be so extensive in the first place.
