This may be a stupid question, but I've been unable to find an answer. I have a Harmony 880 and a DirecTV HR20-700 receiver. For the digital OTA channels is there a way to input the channel numbers that have the -1 extensions? Example: My local NBC affiliate is channel 6, their digital channel is 6-1. I am currently going to channel 6 and hitting channel up on the remote to go to 6-1. Is there a way to input the - on the remote to go directly to channel 6-1?

In your activity(ies) that use(s) the HR20-700, just map the command named "-" to a hard or soft key (Activity > Customize > Change the behaviour of buttons). Most people map it to the "+/Clear" key. In the "Setup Favorite Channels", just type in the "-".

Are you talking about favorite channels or just manual tuning? For manual tuning you just map the - from the DirecTV remote to an activity button. I forgot the workaround for favorite channels. I just use the guide whenever I want to switch channels (or list if it's a show that's recording).

I'm talking about just manual tuning. Kind of a pain to go to the guide, navigate to the channel then change to that channel when I know what channel I want to go to when I already know what channel I want. So far going to the analog channel then hitting channel up to get to the digital one has been the best thing I've found.
I'll have to figure out what key on the D* remote does this if any. I already had the Harmony when I got the new D* receiver so I'm not sure how it does it. The TV remote has a key for it, but since I'm not using the TV tuner, that's no help.
Thanks for the info.

And the "-" command is already in the database for that device. It's just above the one named "0". So no need to teach it. All you need to do, is map it.

Since I've never used the D* remote, I didn't realize there was a "-" key on it. I've programmed the + key on the Harmony for this. Haven't tested it yet, but hopefully that'll do the trick.
