I am a tivo user with lots of FF and only got about 3-4 hours on the battery life. I have been using a 880 and after using hard buttons just really couldn't get used to the touch-screen and also couldn't get my tivo button to show up on the main screen. Michael

I haven't messed around with my 1000 much as yet but I got the feeling that there wasn't going to be much flexibility in what screen you can put specific buttons on. So using the TiVo and other modern devices was going to be a bit of a nightmare as you would have to keep moving between screens to access commonly used buttons. Having all the buttons there with the 880 or 785 (720) is a lot easier.
