I have had the Harmony 880 since the very first day they were realeased. I seem to remember a way to save the remote's configuartion file to a cd (Just In Case). Ihave looked but cannot seem to find the instructions to do so. This was when I was using the original software. Anyone know how?

When you update the remote, the "Update.EZHex" file is downloaded in your "Temp" folder (example for XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp). Note that you can only restore your remote using that file. You can't restore your website configuration.
