Just got a 720 at costco yesterday. Installed software, everything went fine. Created account, devices, activities.... all good. Update device - stuck at 0%. Tried the web interface, gets about 92 bytes of the file (update.ezhex - yea like its easy :-)
and hangs there forever (actually timed out overnight). Disabled firewall, AVG, popup blockers, put members.harmonyremote.com in my trusted site list.... nothing.

Rebooted 720 in safe mode, reinstalled firmware (successfully I might add), tried again, same thing. I am convinced itis not actually the device but Logitech software and web site crashing into something on my machine - Dual Core, 2 GB Mem, 500GB disk, IE 7 - Hmmm I wonder - tried it on my laptop - IE 6 - SAME THING!

Called Logitech support - WORTHLESS!!!

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Had a similar experience, although my updates would get to 80% and freeze. Also had a similar experience with tech support. I finally talked to one guy who was willing to admit that the v7 software was probably at fault. Try this: make sure the Harmony app is close, go into Documents and Settings on your computer, find the Logitech folder, delete it, then restart the Harmony app and run an update. This cleared up my update issues for the most part, although I still get the occasional hang at 0%...when that happens now I cancel and re-run it and it's usually fine.

If you're using a front panel USB port, try one directly attached to the motherboard on the rear. It does make a difference sometimes.
