Hey all. i just finished a 2 zone system. I used two 688 remotes. One for Z1 and one for Z2. Both are set up the exact same way except that the receivers inputs, volume, and power comands are different for the two zones. My problem is that no matter what i do, the zone two remote will not switch Z2 to the TV input on the receiver. The input buttons on the original remote are the same buttons for Z1 and Z2 except to access Z2 you hit a Z2 "shift" button. All other inputs work fine for both zones. All the input codes were learned from the original remote. I have relearned the Z2 TV input several times with no change. I am using both remotes through a Russound IR repeater and the Z1 remote has no problems switching Z1 to the TV input. When I use the original remote it switches to the Z2 TV input no problem. Since I have ruled out the repeater system (repeater works with one remote but not the other and the Z1 remote works when pointed right at the receiver but not Z2), made sure the receiver can actually do the function (works manually and with original remote) I can only conclude that the problem is with the 688 or it's setup, but every other function, inlcluding all other input switching for Z2 works fine. I have noticed that the blue recieve light on the IR receiver blinks for all other commands but when i use the help feature and attempt to switch to the Z2 TV input, no light. This tells me that there is no command being sent from the remote. I have rechecked the setup several times. The setup screen for this activity says that when the receiver's Z2 turns on it should switch to the TV input and the code has been relearned several times. I am at a loss. I have not tried deleting the receiver device and re loading it nor have I tried removing the watch iPOD activity and rebuilding it. I figured i could find a solution here before putting that time in.

Oh, also if you read a post before this where I used the hack to reorder the activities, that was on Z1, which works great. the Z2 remote is hack free so i couldn't have messed it up that way.

if it helps, here is the list of gear. All devices work great. The only thing i can't get is the receiver to change it's Z2 input to TV via the Harmony 688.

Denon AVR 2807 receiver
iPOD Nano
Denon 5 disc CD
Denon DVD
Bell 9200 PVR
Z1 Samsung DLP
Z2 Sony LCD
Russound IR repeater for both zones

Any ideas. Thanks, Craig
