I have a harmony 880 and so far so good.
However, recently, when i click say watch tv or so, everything thats suppose to come on does, but there is always that one item like the AV receiver that doesnt.

So i hit help, and then before you know it, it comes on. It tells me on the remote if everything is on etc and i say yes..and thats that.mmmmm

But ive had this delay or issue with even my xbox.Mind you i turn my xbox on manually but when on the remote i click on play xbox, sometimes ive to do the help thing again so that the AV receiver gets its setting right show up.

Any advice?

Thanks

If it's always the A/V receiver, increase the inter-device delay.

I wonder why but the inter-device delay also seems to affect the inter-key delay. That is, it seems to make the response sluggish when sending commands to devices...say volume control of receiver. With inter-device delay of 0 it's darn fast on my system. But if I bump it up, it starts to slow up.

Is this normal or am I going crazy?

No, there is a bug where these 2 delays are added together and/or criss-crossed.

Criss-crossed? You mean if I wanted to adjust the inter-device delay I actually have to edit the inter-key delay box? I can see how they're similar, but this bug could be avoided if the inter-device delays are only invoked by the remote when starting/ending activities and powering off the system...weird.

Does Logitech know this and plan on fixing it soon or not?

I have not checked the status of this bug in a very long time. Maybe it migrated to something else.

From personal experience I'd say it's still there...and quite a bit annoying too. I hope they fix it sooner or later.
