Can anyone point me to what I need to replace my standard wall toggle switch so I can control it with my 880? I have done some research by google, and I haven't come up with a solid solution...

Thanks!

What you want isn't limited to fireplaces - you just need an IR controlled on/off switch. Lutron would be the first place to check. A regular IR dimmer might work if you leave it on 100%.

I don't think so. I think that fireplaces use some sort of low voltage switching combined with 120. I will take off the plate and have a look. If I don't post anymore, send flowers :-)

The ones I saw used a regular wall switch, so it wouldn't matter if it was 120V or low voltage - a switch is a switch (as long as you don't exceed the amp rating).
