My TV has a very long power up time so I have a long delay built into my Harmony for those activities. I often watch sports games delayed often starting it while the game is still on. With my 676 I would hit pause or list on my dvr so I wouldn't hear anything on my receiver while I'm waiting for my TV to start up. However, with my 880 it doesn't let me press anything until the activity completes. This often forces me to stand by the DVR so that I can press what I want before I hear anything I don't want to. Is there any ay I can change that option on the 880 so that I could press buttons on the remote during the activity start up time like I could on the 676?

I think you can add custom commands to pause, wait 10 seconds, then unpause at the end of the activity's start.

Before selecting the activity - go into device mode and pause the dvr.
