I have been sucessfull creating my media for the "master" sony jukebox, but am wondering how I would go about creating a 2nd media list. Also when you connect the CD jukeboxes together, you change the sony remote to "CD 2", so that the commands are passed to only the 2nd CD changer, if you want to pick a particular CD on the "slave" unit. For most of my listening, it works fine as is, since I usually listen to it randomly and switching between the jukeboxes so there is no delay. If I dont like a song and press next, the "master" knows that the other player is active and sends a next command to it. But I would like to pick a CD that may be on the "slave unit". Anyone had any sucess with multiple jukeboxes?
here goes nothing

hi btmon.
i don't know about adding a second jukebox, but i am interested in adding a media list to my harmony 720 remote. i've been successful so far in entering the artists/titles using harmony software. however, it doesn't appear on my remote anywhere after it's updated. i know the 720 and 880 are probably different, but where do you go on your remote to access the cds in your jukebox?
any help would be much appreciated.
thanks,

btmon,

Check the manual of your CD changer, I know my Pioneer CD jukebox, when connected to a second unit operates in a master/slave relationship. With the CDs in jukebox 1 being numbered 1-300 and the slave unit CDs automatically get renumbered to 301-600.

I then send a remote code to the master (eg. CD 444) and it automatically passes it to the slave unit (there is a 'control' connection cable between the 2 units).

This way, you just have 1 large media list that is 'loaded' onto the master device in the Harmony configuration.

Squareeyes, just press the "Media" button (after you selected the Watch CD Activity).
Note: On the 720, I think you have to configure the "Guide" button to become a "Media" button.

Thanks for the tip jlet. That gives me a good headstart to solving the issue with harmony tech support. The 720 doesn't have a hard "Media" button. It maps it as the top left screen button as "Favorite Channels" under the "Watch TV/PVR" activity. I'll ask them if such a button is in the works for the "CD Jukebox" activity. Their 720 software allows me to enter the disc titles and artists under advanced settings -> enter media. Hopefully that feature is in the works.
