Hello Folks

I am planning on buying one of these two Harmony 890 or 880. Before I place the order I wanted to find out list of equipments that these remotes do support. I could not find from the logitech website. These remotes work only with audio and video equipments?
I wanted a remote that can work with Emerson SW375 - Air Design Ceiling Fan Electronic Receiver which can substitute SW350 Wall Control Switch. How about toys and fireplace?

I see online price for 890 and 880 for $236 and $125 respectively. Is 890 worth the extra $110?

Any input will be strongly apreciated.

anything that is ir controlled you can teach the 880 890 to control ,anything.

The 890 is supposed to support RF devices that support Z wave protocol. It will not control RF devices that are not Z wave compatible - that would be a violation of FCC rules.
