I am a newbie. Some help from the pros will be really appreciated. I have a home theater with 120" electric screen from ELITE. My Harmony 890 doesn't learn the screen's remote infrared codes. I guess Harmony's data base doesn't have Elite's infrared codes. I tried the manually method, where Harmony says command detected, but unfortunately, when I press the button, nothing happens. The screen doen't roll down.
Secondly, can some body suggest me how I can customize the sequential execution of commands? The Harmony 890 does work fine for the activites (except the screen), wherein one button turns on my projector, turns on my reciver, turns on my DVD player. But I want to play music/video from my VCR or music only from CD for presiely 60 seconds, then switch to DVD. Will it be possible? Do I need to buy any additional hardware/software? I contacted Harmony technical support, and they said it is not possible with their remote. Are there any remotes in the market which executes command in time delay fashion?

1) Try all the commands in device mode.
2) Try "Confirm IR language" under Device > More Options. It may find a better IR dataset match.
3) Were you teaching command under an existing name or under a new name?
When you teach a command under an new name, the new name is added to the drop-down list. You need to map it to a key (hard of soft) in activity mode. You should also check it under device mode. If you never modified the device mode key mapping, then the new command will be automatically added at the bottom of the LCD custom button mapping. Its label will default to its command name. If you have modified the device key mapping, then you will need to add it to the device key mapping. It will be available at the bottom of the command drop-down list. Note: When teaching a new command, make sure you type something meaningful over the default "MyNewCommand" name.
4) The Harmony does not support timer function other than the Activity Start/Stop delays.
