Hello... i have a question.....
i dont install these on a regular basis so i am not sure if this can be done...i have a client who has 3 tvs mounted in 3 locations. All with RGBHV cable runs to a common server room...each room will have its own 5.1 system as well as dvd changers and cable boxes....i usually use the mx-3000 or RTI which i know if i use the MSC-400 i can set it to different Ids for each room so there will be no cross talk from each remote...my question is.... if i were to use 3 of the harmony 890s each with its own RF base station for each room...will there be any cross talk between the units? and is there a way to assign a different channel for each base station to ensure there is no cross talk.
i have 4 days before the install....any help would be greatly appreciated. (^_^)

I've had multiple 890's in several installations with no issues. The setup requires you to pair and connect a remote with a wireless receiver. I usually use powerpoint to create a slideshow with the remote name(location specific) to load on each remote. Example "Customer main", "Customer Bed", etc ----replace Customer with customer name. I noticed the latest version of software allows you to add multiple devices for customer accounts...I suspect this accommodates the 890 pro and upcoming 1000. I will be installing multiple 890's using this software this week so I'll post if I encounter any issues.

Forgot to mention, although I have not installed one, I understand the 890 pro has the ability to pair one remote with multiple extenders and therefore control multiple rooms/systems. We don't spec them here because our designers feel our customer base is better served with multiple remotes. No confusion over which room the remote is controlling, where is the remote for this room, etc.
