Trying to "Customise" one device a day on the new 885 (I love doing this kind of thing...Sad I know :suicide: ) however I have come across a strange bug (?) in the software.

On my SkyHD Activity I replaced the default Custom Buttons with eight of my own choice so there would be only one page of Custom Buttons and no "Page 1 of 2" etc. When I tested out this setup I still have two pages of buttons with the only button on the second page being "Text".

The strange thing is I did not enter "Text" as one of my Custom Button choices and it does not show up when I checked it again with the browser!?!

The text button is last on the list below the on /off in posistion nine (I made that one to see if it overwrote the text one).

Has anyone come across this kind of thing before and rectified it?

TIA...D-an-W

EDIT: Just created a new "Watch TV" activity removing all custom buttons and it still leaves me with one "Text" button on the page.

It's a bug. Go in and Add a Text command to the activity just like the one you see on the remote, update the remote, then go back in and delete it, then update the remote again and it should be gone.

Thanks akirby, I tried that and although it did add a "Text" entry without doubling up and making another it didn't remove it when I deleted it.

Got the solution from a guy here...
