I am running into some issues with programming my Harmony 880 remote. I am running the following electronics.
TV- Sony KDF50WE655
Receiver- Yamaha HTR-5850
Dvd/VCR Recorder- Pioneer DVR-RT500
DirecTV- HD TIVO HR10-250
The Issue I am having is when I watch Direct TV and switch from TV to watching a movie the Direct TV will not shut off. The actualy remote for the Direct TV Tivo has an ON button but you have to access a menu to put the TIVO into standby. I had an older Harmony remote and I have never had problems like this. Also the second issue is when I am watching the DirecTV, the previous channel button will not work. If anyone has been experiencing these problems or has a solution I would love to hear it.

I didn't think that TiVos needed to be put into standby mode, right? It doesn't affect the power consumption and recording, so...
In your device setup, you might have "never power off device" (or something to that effect) checked. I know I have it checked with mine because I don't want to put my TiVo into standby.
Regarding the previous channel...I assume you checked out the "customize button" screen? That screen has been the answer to all my button-mapping questions!

Hi!
I'm sorry I can't help you with your question, but I've noiced that you have a Pioneer DVR-RT500, well, I have the same and I've lost my remote. Aparentely, my baby put it into the trash can and we didn't noticed...
Could you post the Codes for the remote?
I saw that another person is needing them as well, so you could help him too!!

Harmony does not use device codes. Instead, it uses a large device (Mfg & Model number) database.
