Julie, if the "Help" button does not work at all, then Call support. This sounds like one of the may 880 bugs is/are back. There seem to be many 880 people with various strange bugs since the last S/W update. Also see post 8 of this thread: [Link: remotecentral.com]

OK, I think I'm about 95% done. Of course that's what I thought the other night. My AV receiver does not turn on when I hit the Watch TV activity and the AV receiver does not turn off when I hit the Off button on the remote. Again, I have checked and double checked all of my settings and with everything I hve done and everythig you guys have suggested, it appears my settings are correct. Still the "Help" button on the remote does not work. Maybe it is time for a call t tech. support. One other little thing, I have programmed (IR) the "Mute" button on the 880 remote from my original AV receiver remote and the Mute does not work.
Any suggestions?
I think everything else is workign fine - switching back and forth between activities once the system is up and running.
Thanks for all of your help to date and any future help.
Julie

Call support. This does sound like a bug as jlet suggested.

I am trying to sort this out too on my 525 (see new question
just asked!!) So when you go into set up for activity
and select change behaviour of buttons how do you then
move them around so that your favs are first. Do you have
to overtype the first one say with what you want it to
be and then select the function from the drop down box?

If so then i presume the one you've overtyped ypu have
to add as anew button?

I would like to know this also.

Steve, the activity custom LCD commands are re-grouped by device priority. On the 6xx series, the device in the left column has top priority. The next device (in the next column from left to right) has 2nd priority and so on. On the 880, it seems the device priority order is: Master Activity Device, Sound device, Display Device. For more details on the 880 priority order see: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Workaround 1: If you need a command from a lower priority device to be grouped with the ones from a top priority device, simply add a "bogus" (a do nothing) command in the top priority column along the same row (line).

Workaround 2: Teach the command to the top priority device.
