Got a Logitech/Harmony 520 last week. I can't seem to press any buttons without the remote's case creaking. If you hold the remote at each end and twist in opposite directions slighty also produces the noise I'm referring to.
Anyone else notice this ? I realise there's no real fix. Think they would have addressed it somehow.
mmmm, May go back to a new MX-500 perhaps.

I don't think that's normal - haven't heard it reported before. Swap it.

Well, switched to a Harmony X-box 360 remote and no creaking. The back half of the 360 version is rubberised whereas the 520 is hard plastic.
Obviously the explaination for the 520's case creak. Very happy with the 360 version :-)

I got two 520s last week and both creak and flex easily. I was trying out a 676 but did not care for the shape and button layout so I returned it and got the 520s on eBay. So far they are working great. We will just have to wait and see how long they continue that way.
