Cujo,

I have had the Harmony for several months now (I was a beta tester). Overall, it is an excellent remote and particularly convenient when using TOADs due to the smartstate technology. For most activities, it suits my purposes perfectly and has a great WAF!

However, I have a satellite receiver that has PVR functions, and for this device, I just haven't been happy with the lack of hard buttons on the Harmony. As many people in this forum have mentioned, a joystick-type rocker button would be a nice addition to the harmony. I have been using an MX-500 (instead of the Harmony) to control my main system because of the sat. rec.

The folks Harmony are continuously upgrading the functionality of their remote which makes me hesitant to trade it away. After all, who knows what they'll come up with next. However, for the sole purpose of controlling my sat. rec., I would be interested in trading for your rc-5000. Send me an e-mail (see my profile for address) if you want to discuss it further.

John
