Brand newbie here so please bear with me. I ordered an 880 that will be here Friday so I don't have any hands on experience as yet. In the test drive I "think" I have everything ready but have a question about power. If I'm watching TV using the watch TV activity, will the TV power off if I switch to say watch DVD activity? Or since the TV must be on to watch a DVD anyway, will the TV just stay powered on? Sorry if I'm not clear...I'm old and technologically impaired :) If it matters I have a Samsung hln56w DLP TV. Also..with my cable provider, in order to take advantage of increased quality hi-def I have to change inputs on the TV. Is there a way to create a watch TV activity as well as a "watch hi-def TV activity? Sorry for any confusion and thanks in advance for any help. Maybe things will be a little clearer once the remote is in hand.

Yes the TV will stay on. Yes you can create multiple "Watch TV" activity types.
