So I've had my 880 one day, it seems a small improvement from the 659 in some regards.

The LCD screen seems to go from blue to light-blue-white at the top & bottom corners. It's more pronounced at the bottom corners. I know it's a low rez screen, but can anyone else tell me if their remote looks like this? Do you have a solid BLUE background on your 880 LCD screen? Mine is most assuredly not solid blue.

Anyone care to just look at your 880 for a moment?

Yeah, mine did the same thing. Washed out/whiteish on the edges. Logitech sent me another under warranty. Second one does the same thing but is better.

Go to squareworld and you can add icons for your favorite channels and change your background to a darker which will greatly improve the washout.

When I bought mine in January the blue background was so dark that it was almost black. Over the next 3 weeks the blue faded considerably until it was a medium blue.

I downloaded some backgrounds which had red buttons on a blue background, and that made reading the display somewhat easier.

I guess I am lucky that the fading was uniform across the entire screen and not splotchy like so many others have reported.
