as stated above I am trying to decide between a 550 and 880. now I dont so much care about the color screen.

the 550 is newer and based on the 880, so besides the color screen what am I giving up? is it worth the extra scratch?

I am concerned with the remote I chose being fully operable with my Dish DVR625. Will the central toggle switches react the same way and the like.

the sound button, will that affect the sound modes on my stereo (Denon) or the TV - I use the Denon for all sound output.

now, I saw that the xbox360 remote had a 'view tv' button on it but have not seen the 550 close enough to determine the button labeling. does anyone know if its on there? or is it a soft button?

will the 550 work the xbox 360 if I get one later??

i think the 550 looks better, but ultimately i want the more appropriate remote.

Yes, the 550 will work with the XBox 360. However, the Harmony 360 has buttons colored and labeled to match the ones on the XBox remote.
