Have the 520 remote trying to control the dish 508. Have been able to get most of the commands, except for Dish Home & PVR button to access the recorded shows. How can I get the 520 to acquire those functions. On the screen display, I have A & B that don't seem to do anything. If I can use those, how do I program that? I also have an "E" on the screen. What is that???

Check in device mode for your PVR to see if any of the LCD commands provide you with those functions. If not, you can teach them from your Dish remote. You aren't limited to the existing names; you can add your own. You can do this from the "More options" menu for your PVR on your Harmony Home Page.

Hate to ask a dumb ?, but which section of the screen shows the LCD commands? Is it the top secton that shows a picture of the complete remote or the bottom section that shows only the top portion? The bottom portion shows DVR under the custom label section & to the right the same thing on the device control.

Press Device, then select PVR and all the available commands will appear in the LCD. Find the one that does what you want and put that in the custom label button section at the bottom of the web page.

If they're not there, learn them from the original remote.

Is there any way to re-arrange the commands that appear on the lcd screen? I have found all of the commands, but they are not in any related order. For instance one screen will have the skip forward command & then you have to cycle through another couple of screens to find the skip back. Any way to put them on the same screen?

You should add the commands that you use to the list of LCD commands for the relevant activity. Don't worry about the Device menu--once you get the Activities set up right, you'll hardly use Device mode, anyway. The commands will be automatically sorted by device, but for a given device the order on the screen is controlled by order of entry, with them appearing on the screen as
