Is it possible to find out and change what the Harmony 885 (880) does when you select an activity.

I have been having problems that my 'Watch DVD' and 'Watch PVR' do not select the right channel on my Plasma panel.

Firstly my Panel (a Panasonic PHD8) remembers what input it was last using and defaults to that.

I found out with experimentation that my Panel takes a good 3.5 secs after power on before it will accept inputs.

So I configured the Harmony to use this power on delay.

This almost solves it but I've noticed something weird.

If the Panel was last on DVD, then when I use 'Watch PVR' the Harmony switches it first to 'PVR' and then back to 'DVD'.

This happens consistently from cold (TV off) or warm (TV on).

Now my Panel has discrete input buttons for Inputs 1, 2, 3 and PC. I think the Harmony is not using these but is using the 'Cycle Inputs' to select the input. Because my panel remembers its last input, the number of 'Cycle Inputs' varies depending on last state.

Is there any way I can tell the Activity to use the discrete codes instead?

Cheers,

Nigel

Of course - go into your TV device and select "adjust inputs" and tell it to use the discrete codes.
