Hello All,

Remote will not go to the correct input. Our Toshiba 57HDX82 input needed is #6 for DVI. All activities are set up correctly on the 880's menu.

If you use the "Help" key and answer the questions does it fix the problem?

How have you configured the Harmony to select inputs on the 57HDX82; via discrete codes or by cycling though the various inputs?

Does the problem only occur when you select an activity that turns on the 57HDC82 or does it occur whenever you switch activities?

The answers to these questions will help us guide you the the most likely cause of the problem.

Hello Remotevisitor,

This only happens when I select an activity, "WATCH TV." Only Comcast cable box & the TV is selected with this activity.

1) When you switch to "Watch TV" activity, does the problem occur only from the off state, or/and from any other activities?
2) Can you fix the problem with the "Help" button?

jlet,

Yes, the problem is corrected if I press the "HELP" button. But the fiancee doesn't understand the "HELP" button. I emailed Logitech to help me with this problem. I 880 shouldn't have this problem. I hope this problem can be corrected. Also this problem happen only from the off state.

Ok, we are getting somewhere. If "Help" fixes the problem, then it's a timing issue (not a setup issue). We need you to answer the other questions to nail down which delay(s) to increase (TV > Device > More Options > Adjust the delays (speed settings)). For example, if the problem occurs only from the off state, then you need to increase the Power-on delay and/or the Input delay. If the problem occurs only when switching between activities, then you need to increase the Inter-Device delay.

Does "OFF STATE" mean starting from the begining when nothing eles is on? If this answer is yes, that's when this problem occures. But I'll try your advice first.

It would be helpful to indicate what the solution was that Logitech provided. There may be more people who have similar issues that you would help them address.

Brian,

Logitech never said what the problem was, it was just solved. I emailed them the problem & 2 days later, I was emailed to update my remote again.
