Set the macro up on your X-10 controlling software & controller. For example, I have a Macro assigned to A14 for Dim TV Viewing lights. It dims two kitchen lights, dims 4 familiy room lights and turns on TV Backlighting. On my HK TC30 it just sends an A14 ON to the IR543 as one command.

Ok, so I got the Harmony 880.

Is it possible to send both a "DVD-pause" and an x10 command with a single button press of the pause button?

Yes, in the Activity > Customize > Change the behaviour of buttons, just select a command from each desired device column along the same row (hard or soft key).

I see what you're saying, Tim. I agree with you. I think
he needs this:

sitting next to his chair if he wants that kind of flexibility.

(no, I'm not affiliated with their company--just bought
their stuff for my basement)

Great.. Now i want one too..

Or he could use the 890 Pro for a second zone setup. Switching from say, living room to kitchen on the soft keys would leave the AV equipment state unchanged, I believe. Obviously, he'd need to replace his current remote with the 890 Pro, but if he's interested in multizone operation, it might be worth it.

beckp,

Could you tell me what device you have set up that allows you to send the integrated command (device + on)? This is exactly the capability I have been searching for.

I have found a Pronto ccf file that purports to have this capability, and am trying to get harmony support to convert it for me.

Thanks!
