They need to fix this. I get a new harmony 768, go to their site, login, go to firmware updates, no notice as to what the current firmware version should be, just a button to click next to upgrade. So I click next, find out that my remote is currently at 1.6 but then the update downgrades me to 1.5. :( Someone should really put a basic check on the site to tell you what version they are pushing, and at least give me the option of canceling before they install a lower firmware version than what is already on the remote.

I just tried the firmware upgrade feature. It tells you which version of software you have and then downloads the latest firmware version. You likely have version 1.6 of the software, and now have version 1.5 of the firmware.

Which brings up another point, I downloaded the latest software and firmware, but still only see:

Version: Software 1.5 Board 0.1 (0x01:0x4c)

Is it possible that the newly-purchased remotes have a version of the software that is more recent than that available on the website?

When I first pluged in I saw this:
Version: Software 1.6 Board 0.2 (0x01:0x4c)

Now I see this:
Version: Software 1.5 Board 0.2 (0x01:0x4c)
