Hey All,

Has anyone upgraded and recently messed with the screen saver settings. I did this past weekend and now after about 2 cycles through the screen saver the lights go off? I can still see the screen changing without the LCD backlit but after about one scroll through it shuts off entirely. Still charges fine.

Does anyone know if they changed the permament backlit feature on the charging station to go off after a while.

Thanks

Ben

Appears they downloaded a change. My week old 880 now goes out after a few seconds. Still charges though and, frankly, I prefer it this way.

Yeah I read about this change over at AVSForum and excitedly synched up my remote. Now the light goes out after a few minutes, and then the display completely turns off after a few more. Very good news. WAY too bright previously, and just leaving teh screen on like that can't be good for it (or at least I imagine it can't)...

Hmm, looks like I have to connect and get this update when I get home. This sounds like a good thing.
