Hi I have an Adelphia Cable hidef MOXI box and a Harmony 880. No matter what I try, the button response when using the Harmony always feels sluggish compared to when using the factory remote. I've tinkered with the response times, and that hasn't helped--- when I try shortening the response time, the delay is still there, and additionally the harmony will "double-click" the same button even if I pressed it only once.

Has anyone else with a MOXI and a Harmony remote run into these problems? Has anyone found a solution?

The "double-click" problem can usually be cured by reducing the number of key repeats. To adjust the key repeat for the problem device select:

Troubleshoot ->
Show me more problems ->
Device doesn't appear to receive every command correctly ->
The device responds too much to some commands

I only have the double-click problem if I reduce the delay time. (When I reduce the delay, it doesn't seem any snappier-- it justs adds the double click problem). Any other suggestions to improve response time?

Thanks!

I'm having the same issue on my SA8300HD cable DVR (speed, not double clicking). I've set the inter-key, and inter-device delay to 0, but it is a *lot* slower in the guide. I'm not trying to bash the remote, I love it! I just want to get it movin a little quicker.

Can lowering the number of repeats help speed things up also?

Lowering the repeats is exactly what both of you need to do. I have an 8300HD box, and suffered from the same problem, so I lowered the delays all to 0, and I believe the default repeat rate is 3, so I set it to 2, and it's great now!

I lowered the repeats to 0 on my 6412. Helped quite a bit, but it's still nowhere close to as responsive as the original remote.
