Has anyone been able to get the Harmony remote to work with a DishPlayer 500? I have no trouble with my Dish PVR 501 receiver.
I even tried running through the setup for entering all the ir codes. Everything seems to work correctly, the remote accepts the codes, but when I try to then use the remote to control the DishPlayer 500 nothing works. This is also known as the Echostar 7200.
Other than this one component, setup was extremely easy. My setup is a Mitsubishi CS40509 TV, Denon AVR-1800 Receiver, Dish PVR 501, Dish Player 500, and Pioneer DVL909 Laserdisc/DVD Player.
Easy to use, and easy to setup.
