Just got my Harmony 885 yesterday, but one thing is bugging me, i can type in (by hand) 101 to get BBC1 very quickly (on the satellite remote), but when i do this on the 885, its more like 1......0......1 and it takes quite a while. Ah! the inter-key delay i hear you cry, but i put that down to 0ms for the satellite device (ive also tried 100ms) but it didnt make any difference at all, and is still slow to respoond.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Reduce the inter-device delay instead. It's counter intuitive. The inter-key delay is invoke only when the Harmony itself is sending a string of commands (when you press a favorite channel for example).

This also sounds like an issue the first 880's had. Try a firmware update if the above doesn't work. (I'm also no so sure jlet is right - I have two devices (on a 659) with 0ms inter-key and 100 ms inter-device and there's a noticable difference on separate keypresses when you up the inter key delay to 100 ms.)

I am not sure myself. This is an observation I noted over a year ago. I was true then but may no longer be the case as Harmony is constantly changing the S/W. The best thing to do is try reducing both delays.

cant load my update at the minute, due to a potential problem at harmony end.
