I'm interested in getting an 880 and wondering if you can control a Sony 400 Disc DVD Jukebox with this? Can you set it up for all your movies and have a selection where you push a button and the movie you want loads?

Thanks.

I think not actually. The underlying fuction was dropped (hopefully temporarily) from the 880. You should be fine with any of the 6XX remotes, though.

Thats actually not the case. I had a 688 and now have a 880 and this function is still present. The 880 is light years above the 688 btw, I'm seriously blown away.

I'm probably going to pick up an 880 from Best Buy today...

Can you give me a little more information on how you set up your Jukebox on it. How did you add your movies and the Jukebox go to the right one?

Thanks.

The easiest way is to create a .csv file in Excel with the title, disk number, etc. (They have a sample that is included in the software). Then simply import it to the device, and all your titles will be listed. I did this with both of my CD Jukeboxes, and imported over 600 titles with no problems. Just make sure that you remove any commas in the titles since that is what determines field breaks in a .CSV file. My only negative observation thus far is that you can only access the media list from an "Activity"... not a "Device".

if you don't have excel, you can just use notepad to enter the disc numbers & titles, and then rename the file extension from .txt to .csv. Take a look at the example file as Tobias suggested.
