I really like the remote, but I've noticed a few odd things ..

- The "Media" button is a bit confusing. When I press it the remote brings up my Favorite Channel list if I'm in the Watch TV activity. It also seems to be transmitting the "MyGreenButton" command as it causes the main menu to pop up on my Media Center Extender. These two functions don't seem to be related to me ....

- Unplugging it from the USB Cable or removing it from the charging cradle seems to cause it to reinitiate and retransmit whatever activity it is currently on. There does not seem to be a way to stop this.

- On the configuration website, under the "Add a Single Task" section there are four options listed (Initial (Manual Control), Initial (Set Time), Utility, Debugging) that don't seem to actually result in anything when I add them. Nothing shows up in my Task Listing. However, when I click on Remove a Task they are there and can be removed. Am I missing something? This is particularily annoying as it seems "Utility" is the only way to make a custom task.

Anyone else experienced these issues?

1) Its a known bug I think (its only supposed to bring up the Favorite Channel list). I think it was fixed in a firmware update

2) Again, try new firmware - if not contact Tech support.

3) Sounds like an artifact from 7XX days - are you upgrading from a Harmony 768?

The 880 is the first Harmony product I have owned. My login account was a testdrive prior to purchasing the 880, but that's about it. As for firmware, my remote has whatever the website pushed into it, I believe client software 4.4, firmware 4.0, and board version 1.8. If there is something else out there I can't find it.

Call or email Harmony Customer Support - they're very responsive and should be able to fix these issues.
