anyone here using the harmony remote with a in-focus screen play 4805 projector?

i am having some issues with the delay timing, and would rather get reliable numbers from someone than guessing.

thanks!

Sometimes you just have to take a stopwatch to the device to get the power-on and/or the input delay right. Rember, there's one in your cell phone. Technically, these can't be too high - so pad them with like 5 more seconds to start with and then work backwards.

IF needs 30 sec (30000 ms) for power on delay.

so does this mean when pressing any activity button (when the projector was previously off), that i need to aim my remote for 30 seconds until it finally sends the command?

thanks

I typically do not include input switches with any activity that turns a projector on, due to the long time before it will accept an input switch. I would have a default activity to turn on the projector (and everything else needed). Other activities that require an input switch would assume the projector's already on.

Yes, it would mean you have to point it for the duration. However, if you set it down so its facing everything, you're generally fine. (This is still better than having to go grab the InFocus remote later to change inputs.)

If the projector won't recieve commands while the remote is pointing forward, you really need an IR repeater system.

I just bought the 680 and use it with the Infocus 4805, Yamaha 750 amp and DVD player, all I did was set it up and send then it all downloaded perfectly to the 680, no probs at all and can switch between Pj, DVD or TV & STB one button. My wife loves it too!.
