Stick with solid colored backgrounds of a darker shade for best readability.

"JThree - you are the man!!!!".... are you sure? ;-P

Hi all,

I made this custom background for the Harmony Remote 880. It's just a simple grid of buttons with highlights & drop shadows, but it's better than an ordinary image for legibility.

Enjoy!

Aw, shucks *blush*. Thanks Cabu8803.

If anyone's interested, I can also post the photoshop document which has the layers that define the various buttons' regions. If you know how to use Photoshop, this makes it easy to make your own custom graphics to suit your style.

Lemme know.

I want to thank J3 for all his work in putting together an
awesome collection of logos.

I'm having a problem.

I went to the [Link: squareworld.com] website.

I downloaded each icon I wanted to my hard drive. I
figured the icons were the proper size.

I then went to the Harmony customizer website and selected
the channels I wanted, then uploaded each individual icon
that I downloaded to my hard drive.

Easy, yes! It worked? No!

Yes, the channel changes are perfect! The problem is that
the graphic icons don't show up. All I see is little horizontal
lines in each block that should represent a channel logo.

What did I do wrong? Were the icons the wrong size to
begin with? Should I have resized them?

Appreciate the help.

Did you download the icons by clicking the "DOWNLOAD" link? Or did you try to download the preview image?

There is no way to download each individual icon - they all must downloaded at once using the "DOWNLOAD" link.

Aaah...

No, what I did was right click each logo and SAVE IMAGE
to my harddrive individually.

I understand now what I need to do. Thanks.

Just updated the website to make it a bit easier to navigate and see what is available. I've also added, by request, 47 icons for the Music Choice channels, though since the channel names are basically just music styles they could be used for whatever music channels you have on your system.

Great stuff J3!

I'm sure you'll get more requests when the 880 will be fully available!

I'm adding a section to my website for icons and backgrounds created by others. If anyone has any they've created for the Harmony 880 and want to share, email me at [email protected]
