I have the typical setup VCR/RECEIVER/SATTV/TV/CD

What I want to know is

1. Sometimes I want to watch TV with surround sound from my reciever and most of the time I want to use the TV speakers Can I have 2 setups?

2. I have a Bell ExpressVU satellite system Can I control the SAT Receiver from the Harmony as if I was using the SAT's orig. Remote? e.g., How do I get the Guide on screen?

3. Where is the best place to buy one in Canada?

Thanks

Hello Gerry,
1. Yes, You can have two setups. One to Watch TV with Surround and another separate activity for Watch TV with TV Speakers or whatever. You would just go through the wizard for each activity and answer the questions properly for each setup. ie. Do you listen to the TV with your receiver?

2. Yes, you can. I am not familiar with that sat. system but I was able do this with my DSS receiver. It is a little cumbersome to bring up the guide but you could remap a button for this. After that the hard keys allow you to move through the program guide, up, down, left, right, center button being selection etc.

3. I live in the states so I am not sure. However I know you can order directly from Harmony.

3) Harmony is made by easyzapper, they are situated in Canada, go to their website ( www.easyzapper.com ).

2) I cannot be certain that express vu is there, but I would be willing to bet on it. (read 3)

1) You can map buttons (so you could turn the play button into guide if you want) but since you have the guide on the remote, I cannot see why you would want to use the one on the TV. Also there is a mode where you have all the commands on the original remote.
