I think the PVR device characterization needs some additional options to allow for devices like Replay that integrate all of their inputs into one guide. For example, I need to be able to choose from multiple service providers, ie DishNetwork AND my local cable. Currently I can only pick one or the other. I also need to be able to tell it that this device has no need to select different inputs, since Replay will make that selection based on the channel I pick. Finally, I would like to be able to change the icon for the activity associated with Replay to something other than the Tivo icon.

The "Watch PVR" activity is not really set up to work with ReplayTV well. Getting to the guide is very difficult. I've created a "Change Button Function" activity adds "Guide" to Navigation Mode. I'd like it to be at the top of the list, but the tag doesn't seem to work as advertised. Here's the XML:

The Watch PVR activity, with a ReplayTV is pretty damn piss-poor. It's obvious whoever setup the Harmony has no experience with the ReplayTV.
I'd like to have a two functions under the "Watch ReplayTV activity" 1) 'Transport or watch mode' the directional controls would be as indicated, but the right direction would do 'quickskip' or Advance as harmony calls it. and the left direction would do 'Replay'. I'd also like to use the channel up/down for guide and zones.
2) 'quide/zones mode' in this mode the directional controls would be do select and cursor movement duties. while the channel up/down could do exit/done.
After perusing the advanced screens I'm sure it can be done, but it is not abundantly clear how. I can't seem to locate all of xml code for the raplytv that assigns functions to buttons.
