I have the same situation on my computer at work, Anthony. The only way I could get logged out was to find the cookie for RemoteCentral and delete it. Then when I refreshed the page, I could log.

Hmm. Well, I've changed the code to do a double whammy now (blank values AND it expires)... so if it doesn't work then I can assure you there's nothing more from MY side I can do to remove it! :-)

Now my work computer logs off correctly here too. Maybe it had something to do with the old cookie(s) I deleted.

Well, as I said, after your post I changed how the cookie is treated... previously it would write blank values, which worked 100% in my tests, but perhaps something out there just ignores that. So now I ALSO set a negative expiry date.

At any rate, it could have just been something funky with the cookie cache on your system. My home PC has (checking) 3,700 cookies on it, some dating back 27 months... stands to reason that, with a Microsoft product, things might get a bit corrupt now and again.

I guess I should really delete some of those! :-)

lol, this time it was Microsoft IE. I had to give up the blackberry for the same reason I needed to change the e-mail (that started all this, I was downsized last Thursday)

Ouch! Man - I've been there - sorry to hear that. Hope it works out for the best in the end.

thanks, there were a few of us let go that day from the department, I am not scared yet (I have been lucky job wise so far and hoping that it will keep up), but it was a big surprise, but I guess after a big acquisition you need to cut some personnel on both sides. I think what hit me most that day was after the department head told me this and I went to go talk to my functional boss and found out he was let go also, the guy was in his 50's I don't think he will have a problem finding a job, but at his age, it is sh!tty that he needs to start a new career, I am sure he was looking forward to retirement and to be able to enjoy his skidoos, cottage and motorcycle, now he will need to continue longer. Also with both of us gone I have no idea what will happen to some of the stuff we were working on. We put a lot into making videoconferencing trivial to use (that is how I started here) and would hate to see it go down hill.

Bah - let it go down hill then contract back at $200/hour to fix it. :)
