Simple in concept yet surprisingly difficult

2 words. Side by side where you would never see them. Perhaps they have never been together in the history of the english language The combinations are stunning.

Grubby Toothache

No it's your turn. You could become famous just like me. Do you think anyone else in the whole world has ever put together grubby and toothache?

Give it your best shot. It's way harder than you think.

OK PEOPLE

I appreciate the effort, but I must tell you that we are trying to come up with truly RARE word combinations. Words that are opposites are NOT original. Poetry is littered with such pairs.

I will stike from the record any combinations that can be proven elswhere at a previous time.

I'm eliminating Blissful Melancholy and Retardedly Intelligent from the list. They have been done before. ( A simple google found these)

Braless Wire however is still good. I like the simplicity of it edmund.
So far we have collected:

Grubby Toothache and
Braless Wire

We're batting .500

Um, is supercalifragelistic a word? NO

Otherwise I could just use words like Corntape Friggenickle.

2 for 5

GOOD/VALID
Grubby Toothache
Braless Wire

NO GOOD/INVALID
Blissful Melancholy
retardedly intelligent
supercalifragelistic heinousness

Hmm dazzling grass. You know it's probably been done if you can put it into a sentence that makes sense......
"My that it a dazzling grass display you have!"........
Or maybe some guys smoking some funny little cigarettes......
"Dude this is some seriously dazzling grass!"

I'll go with the next 5 votes

Who thinks dazzling grass has never been done before?

I say it has.

Soleful Meteorite and Cheescake Buckyball are definitely good and on the list.

PS I did a search on Grubby Toothache and found it many times. Also using your criteria "You know it's probably been done if you can put it into a sentence that makes sense......" I would say

After eating mud pies I got a grubby toothache

Yeah, I know you won't find it setting off any alarms. That's why I'm putting it to a vote by a jury of peers.

I suppose "dazzling grass" is a thumbs up vote for you?

Duly Noted

1 vote Nay
1 vote Yeah

Whether dazzling grass has ever been done before rests in the hands of the next 3 "voters"

And NO supercalifragelistic is NOT a word! It is the a segment of a real word-
SUPERCALIFRAGELISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS, is a real word.
You can use a compound word but no word segments please.
